Bonnie Hellman as Daisy

Bonnie Hellman began her career in NYC in musicals, appearing on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in Regional and Stock theatres. After playing the series regular role of Penny Brooks in the CBS Series Nurse, she moved to LA, where she has appeared in over 125 TV shows and films as well as shot more than 100 commercials. Most recently, she played Christian Bale’s secretary in the film Amsterdam and shot the lead in a short film Susana.

Brian Habicht as Attendant

Brian was a recurring sketch performer on CONAN O’Brien while filming at Warner Brothers for TBS. Has a vast Improv & Sketch Comedy experience on stages throughout Los Angeles as well as multiple independent films and voicing numerous animation projects. Brian is a prior 25+ year member of the Actor’s Co-op Theater Company in Hollywood. Past stage shows include Marvin’s Room, Lucky Stiff, Summer and Smoke, The Matchmaker, The 1940’s Radio Hour, The Boy’s Next Door, Freddy Wyatt’s Christmas Spectacular, Little Shop of Horrors, The Fantastick’s, 1776, She Loves Me, The Curious Savage, Guys and Dolls, and Damn Yankees. Mike Ackerman:  Playwright

Mike Ackerman is a New York-based playwright and screenwriter. Mike is the Grand Prize and First Place Feature winner of the 2023 Slamdance Screenplay Competition for THIS END UP. Most recently, he wrote, directed and produced THE GWYNETH PALTROW SKI TRIAL at Caveat NYC. Mike's other credits include THE CLIFF WALK (2020 Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards Finalist) and ROCKABYE (2019 Story Pros International Screenplay Contest Runner-Up). Mike holds a BA in Film from Vassar College and an MSW from Fordham University.

Linda Kerns:  Director

Linda is delighted to lend her directing talents to DPTC and this wonderful play! Her many directing credits include The Traveling Lady (Critics Pick, LA Times and Ovation Recommended), And Then There Were None (Ovation Recommended), The Man Who Came to Dinner, Pride and Prejudice, Guys and Dolls, Meet Me in St. Louis, and Two by Two, among others. She has served as Musical Director on many projects including Big River, Little Shop of Horrors, and the 1940’s Radio Hour. As a Voice Actor she appeared in Mulan, Enchanted, and Avatar. As an on-screen actor: Titanic. She recently retired after 23 years as an Adjunct Professor at UCLA.
