Alexandra van der Hulst as Abby Wiseman

Alexandra van der Hulst is a singer and actress in the Los Angeles area, originally from Hartford, Connecticut. Theater: Playhouse on Park- A Charles Dickens Chritsmas (swing perf), The Amazing Adventures of Dr. Wonderful (swing perf). Hartford Theater- Mamma Mia (Sophie). Dävid Fish as Salah Malak

Dävid Fish was born in the Bay Area of Northern California, to a Catholic father and an ethnic Albanian Muslim mother from Montenegro, who inspired him to think individually and always fight for what is right: freedom and equality for all. He started his acting career onstage at the age of five, and continued to act onstage up through high school. He began attending University of California, Riverside in 2013, in order to pursue a degree in Sociology/Law & Society, with a focus on racial and ethnic injustices. In 2020, he moved to Los Angeles to refocus on his dreams of pursuing an acting career in film and television, while still using the knowledge garnered at UCR, to help make a difference in his own local community, as well as other oppressed communities around the world.

Julie Nalibov as Rabbi Miriam Roenberg

After decades of teaching History, English, and Psychology, Julie Nalibov began a second chapter as an artist and metalsmith along with working in film and television. She trained with Jim Gleason at the Working Actors Studio and has studied and performed comedy/improv. Most recently, she was cast in the Disney film Haunted Mansion (2023). As a Jewish woman who has spent many years in the Israel-Palestine peace movement and who raised two children with her husband, a Palestinian Muslim born and raised in Jerusalem, the subject matter of this play is near and dear to her heart.

Alex Kravitz as Aaron Ahlef

Alex Kravitz is an actor, filmmaker, and musician based in Los Angeles. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, writing a thesis titled "Pluralizing Diplomacy: How Humans Can Construct Cosmopolitan Narratives for Educational Engagement with One Another." He uses sociological performance theory to analyze the inherent limitations of the framework for international relations. He believes that narratives centering the human experience help people heal from the destructive legacies of misogyny, racism, and homophobia.

Stephen Knight as Dr. Arnie Wiseman

Stephen continued his exploration of Self and the Universe in the 60's with his professional creative work in radio, film, television, stage, writing, standup, and improvisation. Working with Orson Welles, Woody Allen, and Johnny Carson, to name a few, was influential and quite the classroom to hone his skills. It didn't stop there as he worked with Lee Strasberg, at the Actors Studio, ACT in San Francisco, with The Second City, and elsewhere. Sammy Wagner as Efron Trumonov

Sammy Wagner is an actor, writer, and voice artist who can be heard on such recent audio projects as How to Hack Birth Control and Grimaces and Misery, on-screen in Boris and Hey, I’m the Doorguy, and on stage in I Never Sang for my Father and Much Ado about Nothing. An avid bicyclist, he recently completed 26,000 miles over 10 years of touring the coast of Southern Califonia.

Marc Aronoff:  Director & Playwright

Marc Aronoff is an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced nationally and internationally. His one-act drama, The Lantern Bearers, won the 2018 Arts and Letters Competition and was translated into Italian in 2022. While the first draft of A Night in Jerusalem was written in 2012 and has received several readings, Marc is honored to direct and see the drama find new life with Dean Productions. Marc performed as a professional dancer and actor for several years, working in stage, film, and television, primarily in Europe and New York City and has written several books. His latest book, Love’s Guest: Reflections of Inspiration and Wonder, (2023) touches upon our relationship with Divine Love in the world today.  www.lovesguest.com.

Rebecca Lynne:  Sound Designer

Rebecca is the founder of Dean Productions. As a theatre director, her work has been seen around the world, including New York, London, New Jersey, Washington DC, Bali, and California. Among her solo directing credits are The Last Five YearsInto the Woods, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Comedic Tragedy of Macbeth, The 39 Steps, Sleeping Beauty Ballet, The Lady of Shallot, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Ghost Sonata, the Opera. Rebecca recently made her film directorial debut with Binders and The Rise of the Binders, the prequel mini-series.
