James Moorer as Captain
Cleveland, Ohio, native James Moorer is an actor, producer, and screenwriter based in Los Angeles. James has voiced numerous commercials, animation projects, and indie films for more than a decade. On the writing side, James specializes in thrillers, action, and horror. James won the Roadmap Diversity Initiative Program in 2018 and his latest horror feature, BLACK BONES JONES, is in pre-production. He is also known as the authority on all the best pancakes in the San Fernando Valley.
BK Phillips as Brother
BK Phillips literally turns heads when he enters a room. The 6’6" actor is hard to miss. As described by his friends, his presence is noteworthy as it helps to illuminate the roles he takes on. This led to a recent role as the stoic and deadly Brother Jones on BET+’s “The Family Business.” BK also lends his voice to the audio drama podcast, “The Last Magician.” His VO work includes audiobooks and animation as well. BK’s studies include Meisner from JoAnn Baron & DW Brown Studio along with stops at Leslie Khan Studios, Richard Lawson and Ivanna Chubbuck studios.
Mitchell Bisschop as Jailer/Mountie
Mitchell Bisschop is a Los Angeles actor and writer of theatre and film. His solo theatre work includes: I Can Hear You Now (2018) and Pit of Goblins (2019). He will be debuting his latest solo theatre piece Royko: I May Be Wrong But I Doubt It in the fall.
Caitlin Patricia Weiler as Reporter
Caitlin Patricia Weiler is an actress, writer, host, athlete, and model. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she is now based in LA. While living in Mexico City, Mexico, she filmed Más Sabe el Diablo for Viejo and has appeared on CBS, ABC, Lifetime, Univision, Multimedios, and E! Entertainment. When not on set, Caitlin travels the world hosting events, red carpets, and radio shows, aiming to inspire others along the way. Art in all forms is what makes her feel alive. Instagram @kitcait
Max King Cap: Playwright
Former firefighter Max King Cap is a visual artist from Chicago who now lives in Los Angeles. His work has been awarded by Artadia and Creative Capital, exhibited in the Bronx Museum, Walker Art Center, Museum fur Neue Kunst Freiburg and numerous other cities in Europe and the US. He is also a writer whose work has appeared in The Racial Imaginary, Threepenny Review, Shenandoah, The Puritan, and TriQuarterly. He earned his MFA from the University of Chicago, his doctorate from USC, and has taught at Illinois Institute of Technology and Pitzer College.
Matthew Robinson: Director
A Washington DC native, Matthew S. Robinson spent his early years dreaming of becoming an archaeologist. As time went on, his passion for historical documentaries and research morphed into a passion for storytelling. After graduating from Pepperdine University in 2012 with a bachelors in media production and emphasis in political science, Robinson began working on various theatre, animation, and film projects. Sam Dunnewold: Sound Engineer
Sam Dunnewold is a Los Angeles based freelance video editor, podcast editor, and sound designer. His credits include narrative podcasts like "The Onion's A Very Fatal Murder," Funny or Die's "The Last Degree of Kevin Bacon," and Team Coco's "Frontier Tween." Sam was born in Minnesota, and misses the cold.
