Thomas Durkin hs

Thomas L. Durkin:  Playwright

Thomas began summer musical theater presentations when he was thirteen at a youth group in Cincinnati, his birthplace. He accepted roles in shows with that group for four summers and in every high school play he could find. During the Vietnam War, he joined the U.S. Air Force. One of his tours of duty provided him a six and a half year stay  in England where he was able to join the base theater troupe. Meanwhile, he started writing In Lieu, not realizing it would take 47 years to complete. It was the one play for which he thought he would never find the right ending, but in 2020 In Lieu at last found its finish.
