Anika C. McFall as Professor
Anika C. McFall is an award-winning producer and recent NAACP Best Supporting Actress recipient whose career began as a child theater protégé. Anika is a trained actress and dancer, whose work can be seen in movies, television, theater, and dance productions. Anika has taken on lead and supporting roles, series regular, recurring and guest appearance roles on ABC, CBS, HBO, FOX, Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon, HULU, AMAZON, MTV, VH1, Lifetime, LMN, Oxygen, TNT, BET, Direct TV, TV One, Crackle, and REELZ. Anika has graced the stage in numerous theater productions. Her LA productions include: award-winning Girls of Summer, My Brother’s Keeper, Love Soul Deep, Crazy is Love, and Peace be Still.
Gary J. Winfield as Trevor
A California native born and raised in the City of Compton, Gary is a veteran actor who has performed on stage as well as the screen. Some of his theatrical credits include featured roles in productions such as A Taste of Life, A Raisin in the Sun, and A Love You Never Knew. Gary’s film credits lists supportive roles in movies such as Harlem Nights, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, and Panther. Gary’s educational highlights included training at the “Hollywood Acting Workshop” and the “Aaron Speiser Acting Studio”. Gary has also earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio/Television/Film Communications from California State University, Long Beach.
Darrell Philip as Warden
Darrell Philip was born and raised in Texas and studied in Hollywood at The Actors Center International, The Groundlings, with Ivana Chubbuck, and Larry Moss. On stage, he has been seen as Cyrano in Cyrano de Bergerac, Neil Simon's California Suite, Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, as well as Bronzeville, No Place To Be Somebody, Pity the Proud One, and The Wrong King of People with the Robey Theatre Company. He will appear in the upcoming mini-series Washington’s Armor and the films Rico San Marco, You’re Hired!, LA 4orce, and Melchizedek’s Men.
Katie Herling as P.K.
Katie Herling (she/her) is a non-binary actor/educator, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated with her BFA in Performance from the Oregon Center for the Arts, where she was trained by leading industry professionals from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She began her career as an educator with the California Shakespeare Theater in Oakland, CA, before moving to the LA-based Kingsmen Shakespeare Company. Katie is currently in production for the upcoming web series Burn The Witch, premiering October 2022.
Sarah Schulte: Narrator
Sarah “Sarahnade” Schulte is a SAG/AFTRA, AEA actress, singer/songwriter, and all around performer. Her most notable works include; “Fantomas: Revenge of the Image” International Tour in China, Nightwalk in the Chinese Garden as Mrs. Claremont, “When Colossus Falls” winner of Best Drama and Best Ensemble in a Drama at INK Fest 2019, “The Galen Project”- in which Schulte starred and Co-directed and won Best Female Direction from Los Angeles Women’s International Film Fest, and "just recently booked her first TV Pilot. Barbara Blumenthal-Ehrlich: Playwright
Plays produced off-Broadway at Theatre Row, in the NY International Fringe Festival, Northern Light (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), Forward Flux (Seattle), Overtime (San Antonio), Trustus (Columbia, S.C.), Trinity Rep (Providence), and more. Work developed in NYC at Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage, and Rattlestick; and regionally at The Kennedy Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Victory Gardens, Rogue Machine. Winner: Beverly Hills Theatre Guild Julie Harris Playwriting Award, the Israel Baran Award, and a runner up at the Sundance Playwriting Lab, O’Neill Playwrights Conference, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, the Heideman Award and Princess Grace Fellowship. Other honors: nominated for Edmonton’s Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award, the Susan Smith Blackburn Award and honorable mention, The Kilroy list.
Padra Crisafulli: Director & Sound Designer
Padra Crisafulli [they/them] tells stories with a typically other-worldly bent through direction, sound, and words. Their work as a director has been produced in Serbia, the Czech Republic, and their home state of Pennsylvania. Online, they have worked with the Women's Theatre Festival of Raleigh, NC and One House Productions of Long Island, NY. Under the name "neutruhl", they make sample-based music into short-form narratives about loneliness and nature.
