Skip Pipo as Matt
Skip is very happy to be working with this amazingly talented cast and crew. His credits include The 39 Steps (Dean Productions), Dracula (LA Theater Works national tour), Copenhagen, How I Learned to Drive, Mrs. Warren's Profession (LA Weekly nominee), LADCC award nominated Equus and Enron (all at The Production Company LA), and the North American tour of West Side Story. Skip also has numerous commercial and film credits and has been featured in many series made for new media.
James Hansen as Gary
James was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to the UK at age 18 to study at Cambridge University. After that, he received an MA in Acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. In 2015, he moved to Los Angeles and has been living and working there ever since. He has appeared in guest roles in shows on Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, as well as doing voice acting work for Funimation. His most recent stage credit was as Dromio in The Comedy of Errors, performed in Connecticut.
Natalie Eleftheriadis as Ruby
Natalie graduated with a BA in Theater Performance; Arts Academy, Federation University of Australia. Natalie starred as M in Birthday (Chapel off Chapel, The Bakehouse Theatre) to rave-reviews later reprising the role on screen; Winner Best Actor (Cannes Independent Film Festival); nominated Best Actress (12th Melbourne Underground Film Festival). Recent; Eve St.Croix in Lyman (El Portal Theatre); Vera in And Then There Were None (Morgan-Wixson Theatre); Elise in Indie Feature I’ll Be Around (BEST INDEPENDENT FILM Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival 2020).
Maura Kanter as Tina
Maura Kanter is a classically trained actor and singer and proud graduate of Johns Hopkins University. She has a certificate in Shakespeare and Jacobean Theatre from LAMDA, a member of the 2017 class of NTI Theatremakers at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center and is thrilled to be part of this play! Past roles include: Robin (Investigation Discovery's Evil Lives Here), Macbeth (Macbeth), and Mara (World premiere of Murder Too!). She is the co-host and co-creator of Historically Badass Broads, a podcast that focuses on previously forgotten, maligned, or ignored women from History. It's a good time. No, seriously, it's really funny.
Casey Alcoser as Man/Newsreader
Casey is an actor, writer, and singer in Los Angeles. Previous credits include: All's Well that Ends Well, ARENA: A House Music-al, Gideon and the Blundersnorp, Chekhov in Yalta, and The Water Engine. He's also very grateful to appear in two shows for the 2022 season of PtP -The Powers that Be and Best Beware My Sting. Sarah Schulte: Narrator
Sarah “Sarahnade” Schulte is a SAG/AFTRA, AEA actress, singer/songwriter, and all around performer. Her most notable works include; “Fantomas: Revenge of the Image” International Tour in China, Nightwalk in the Chinese Garden as Mrs. Claremont, “When Colossus Falls” winner of Best Drama and Best Ensemble in a Drama at INK Fest 2019, “The Galen Project”- in which Schulte starred and Co-directed and won Best Female Direction from Los Angeles Women’s International Film Fest, and "just recently booked her first TV Pilot. Melville Lovatt: Playwright
Melville Lovatt was born in Bolton, England in 1948 and is an award-winning playwright, monologue writer and poet. His work has been widely performed throughout London. A number of his plays have won playwriting awards: The Powers That Be won The Sussex Playwrights Club 1st Prize for best full-length play. Small Mercies, a full-length play, won a Jack Langford Memorial Award and a Derek Lomas Memorial Award. Two of his one-act plays, The Grave and The Kiss were short-listed for the Diane Raffle Award. Natalie Kane: Director
Natalie Kane is thrilled to be returning for Season 2 of Premiere the Play! A New York-based artist passionate about developing new works, she has worked on recent seasons with Gloucester Stage, New York Theater Festival, and Shakespeare Theatre of NJ. Favorite directing credits include Zig-Zag (PtP, season 1), The Winter’s Tale (Evergreen Theatre Collective) and Letters from Lisette (New Play-Reading Festival, The Growing Stage). Mason Lee: Sound Designer
Mason Lee can be found in Los Angeles, making lots of noise! Their passion for all things audio has led him to a life of helping others make their imagination become a reality. Mason has done everything from sound design for educational videos put on by the Orange County Department of Education to recording voice overs for the major video game franchise Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six. As if that weren’t enough, Mason can also be found rocking out with local musicians recording albums.
